WEST VALLEY— After breaking records in its ticket sales and due to continued demand, Hale Centre Theatre has added seven additional shows to the schedule for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”

Pre-sales for HCT’s most recent rendition of the much-loved “Joseph” exceeded any other show the theater has put on. Before the show even started, the theater added extra matinees and later performances to accommodate eager audiences.

“We want as many people as possible to experience our version of ‘Joseph,’” said Sally Dietlein, HCT executive producer. of the production here.

Hale went high-tech with this show (read the review). At the conclusion, Joseph dons a white coat covered with a built-in LED lighting system. The glowing, rainbow-colored lights can be manipulated and controlled to create a unique signature coat.
